Often in conjunction with lifestyle and dietary changes, herbs tend to nudge the body towards wellness. Herbs and appropriate nutrition often prove beneficial with issues such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, low energy, high stress, PMS, menopausal complaints, joint pain, digestive issues, etc. Safety with herbs and any interactions with current medications is always taken into consideration. At the base of any wellness protocol is sound nutrition. As a licensed Dietition-Nutritionist, certified through the Certification Board for Nutrition Specialists, I offer targeted nutritional and herbal recommendations.
As a nutritionist and herbalist I review all the body systems (i.e. digestive, nervous system, cardiovascular, etc.), review health history and current health concerns, lifestyle patterns, including diet, and make herbal, nutritional and lifestyle recommendations. Taken into consideration are the clients' unique constitution and issues.
I see clients one-on-one or with a parent if a child is being seen. Initial consultations last 1 1/2 hours, with continuing care appointments of 1 hour duration approximately. Clients receive a written explanation of the herbs and other elements of their unique protocol.”
