I specialize in eating disorders, sports nutrition, food sensitivities, weight management, GI issues, autism and general health disorders. I use a functional medicine model and approach to look at the person at a whole to improve overall health and wellness.
My counseling incorporates a Non-Diet Approach, focusing on cognitive and behavior modification; involving diet, lifestyle, body image and exercise. I teach you how to nourish your body to best meet your health, fitness, and weight goals and how to foster a positive and enjoyable relationship with food. I am a certified Eating Disorder Nutritionist
In addition, being a Certified LEAP Therapist has allowed me to identify patient specific food sensitivities for the management of irritable bowel syndrome, fibromyalgia, and migraines as well as many other health conditions.
