Dana is a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, Licensed Professional Counselor, specializing in Weight Management, Eating Disorders and Sports Nutrition. She works with clients on an interpersonal level in order to provide quality care that goes beyond just basic nutrition services. Her philosophy is that, in order to help one achieve optimal wellness, it is important to get know each client as an individual and explore their associations with food.

I am an anti-diet, Intuitive Eating Coach, and Registered Dietitian dedicated to help you heal your relationship with food and your body. I use a Health at Every Size aligned framework to empower clients to find love and compassion for themselves, freedom from chronic dieting or disordered eating. I use somatic meditations to teach individuals to interpret and respond to the hidden messages lying within the physical body. Through rewiring thinking around food and eating, my clients heal from a lifetime of exposure to diet culture and ditch dieting for good.

I work with adolescents and adults who are hoping to build a better relationship with food and their bodies. I spent 7 years working in a facility that provided inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment for people healing from eating disorders; thus I have extensive experience helping people build skills and break down barriers so that they can reclaim their relationships with food. In my private practice, I have worked with clients who are healing from eating disorders, and those building new relationships with food having struggled with disordered eating, chronic dieting, and eating issues in general.

I became a Registered Dietitian because I am passionate about food, wellness, and helping others. My passion for nutrition strengthens each and every day, as I grow and gain further knowledge in the field. Throughout the last few years, I have broadened my horizons when it comes to the nutrition field. This has allowed me to grow and realize where my passions lie in the nutrition world. Over the past few years, I have helped countless clients of all ages achieve their goals - whether that be weight loss, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, high cholesterol - you name it, I've treated it!
