I became a Registered Dietitian because I am passionate about food, wellness, and helping others. My passion for nutrition strengthens each and every day, as I grow and gain further knowledge in the field. Throughout the last few years, I have broadened my horizons when it comes to the nutrition field. This has allowed me to grow and realize where my passions lie in the nutrition world. Over the past few years, I have helped countless clients of all ages achieve their goals - whether that be weight loss, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, high cholesterol - you name it, I've treated it!

I am a Registered Dietitian with over 18 years of experience working with children, families and adults with multiple medical issues or personalized weight loss or behavior change goals. I have a passion for helping individuals and families develop their own unique set of healthy lifestyle changes. I have over 14 years of experience in pediatrics and eating disorders as well.

I specialize in helping busy, overwhelmed families in managing special diets, family meals, and meal planning.

I work with adolescents and adults who are hoping to build a better relationship with food and their bodies. I spent 7 years working in a facility that provided inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment for people healing from eating disorders; thus I have extensive experience helping people build skills and break down barriers so that they can reclaim their relationships with food. In my private practice, I have worked with clients who are healing from eating disorders, and those building new relationships with food having struggled with disordered eating, chronic dieting, and eating issues in general.

Elena is a Registered Diettian / Nutritionist with extensive experience of over 15 years. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition and Food Science from Hunter College & City University and completed a dietetic internship program at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. She is an accredited member of the American Nutrition Academy and completed her Certificate of Training in Weight Management. I am passionate and committed to improving health and wellness through Integrative and Functional Nutrition principles and guidelines, which include in-depth nutrition history, assessment and providing personalized nutrition care plans that include- appropriate diet/meal plan, supplement recommendations, and life style modifications,etc. In the past 25 years I have helped many patients with Diabetes, Cardio Metabolic Syndrome, Weight management & Bariatric nutrition, Gastrointestinal disorders ,Food sensitivities, Chronic fatigue syndrome, etc .
