I am classically trained as a Registered Dietitian & Clinical Nutritionist, but specialize in Integrative & Functional Medicine. I have extensive expertise in nutrient, herbal and pharmaceutical interventions as well as lifestyle and integrative wellness approaches. In practice for over 45 years, I support clients challenged with auto-immune & inflammatory diseases, GI disorders, cardiovascular, endocrine, neurological & neuromuscular conditions. My clients receive a completely personalized "roadmap to health" that is designed for their unique lifestyle, preferences, health challenges and goals.

I help everyday people gain control of their blood sugars levels, cholesterol levels, blood pressure, and weight by modifying their diet (while still including the foods they like) and identifying lifestyle changes they need to make.

I offer a three month wellness program called Deja La Dieta/Ditch the Diet that helps you do just that; ditch the yo-yo dieting and get in control of your health. I use mindfulness techniques and intuitive eating concepts to help you get in touch with what your body really needs and forget about the rules you've learned through diet culture. I also use functional approaches and focus on all aspects of health, like sleep, stress, and gut health. I practice from a weight-inclusive perspective, so weight is the last thing we'll discuss, if at all.

I am a Registered dietitian, licensed and certified in 10 states. I have been President of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for New York State. I work with all age groups on various issues of weight control, diabetes, FODMAP, Gastrointestinal Disorders and Children's issues among other diagnoses.

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Board Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition with 8+ years of experience. Kidney Diseases are my specialty. I understand that as a newly diagnosed patient, you are very overwhelmed, you probably have joined Facebook groups and spent hours researching your new diagnosis, and what you can or cannot eat, and yet feel so overwhelmed with all the information and trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together.
