We take a non-diet, weight-inclusive, Health At Every Size approach to our belief that all bodies are good bodies. What Nourishes You, LLC offers individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy and Nutrition Counseling to inspire health, prevent disease and promote healing. Separating nutrition facts from food fads, I'll explain nutrition research in terms of real food you can put on your plate. My approach emphasizes affordable and delicious anti-inflammatory whole foods. I may recommend the inclusion or exclusion of certain foods and nutrients to treat disease and optimize health. I take a collaborative approach with you and the members of your healthcare team.

I am a licensed, Registered Dietitian and have been passionate about helping people reach their health and wellness goals for over 30 years. I take a science based approach to nutrition and will help clients sift out misinformation surrounding food and diet and how to translate this information into a healthy lifestyle.

Our society is deeply embedded in “diet culture” making it hard for us to navigate nourishing our bodies. At Kind Nutrition Mind we will work to heal your broken relationship with food and build a foundation of evidenced based nutrition knowledge and practices based on your individual needs. Kristen practices with an evidenced based approach incorporating Health at Every Size (HAES) and Intuitive Eating (IE).

Brittany Kiss, MS, RDN, LDN attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for her degrees in Nutrition and Spanish and Boston University for her Masters in Nutrition. Though she has extensive experience in sports nutrition and gut health, she has spent all of her post-graduate and professional careers in the treatment of eating disorders. Working concurrently in the clinical inpatient setting, her astuteness for how eating disorders take hold of the mind has been fine-tuned. She believes in accepting your body and freeing your mind from itself by using a HAES-centered, non-diet and intuitive eating approach.

I'm a bilingual registered dietitian and a military veteran who specializes in sports nutrition/performance, disordered eating/eating disorders, and general nutrition. Many people who may be suffering from disordered eating patterns either minimize or do not fully realize the impact it has on their mental, physical health, and athletic performance. I can help guide you tune in to your own body’s needs.
