I usually see clients who have already tried mainstream medical care and are just not finding the relief they sought. They know there is more work to do however, they are possibly not being heard by their current healthcare providers or not at their optimal state of health that they know they can feel or once felt.

As an Integrative Nutrition Counselor, I help individuals improve their health as well as renew wellness through nutrition, natural supplementation, and lifestyle changes. I will work with you and your medical team to avoid or reverse disease.

My goal is to improve my client’s health and livelihood through food alone. With the rapid increase in obesity throughout the country, more and more people are resorting to medications, quick fixes, or fad diets to resolve their associated comorbidities or get rid of excess weight, which are neither sustainable nor realistic. My goal is to minimize that quick fix approach and need for medications to manage a chronic condition, and instead create long lasting eating habits that will result in sustained weight loss, better disease management, and a longer life.

Food/nutrition plays such a big role in our lives. By fully understanding each clients' specific needs, the LBS Nutrition Registered Dietitian's educate, create, and implement appropriate plans that will suit each individual's lifestyle. It is not a "one size fits all" approach. We work very closely with clients through one on one meetings, continuous online communication, offer weigh ins, support groups, cooking events, and more. Dr. Tricia Talerico holds a Masters' Degree in Clinical Nutrition and uses her 28 years experience as a healthcare practitioner to understand the unique needs of each of her patients and clients. I spent 7 years working in a facility that provided inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment for people healing from eating disorders; thus I have extensive experience helping people build skills and break down barriers so that they can reclaim their relationships with food. In my private practice, I have worked with clients who are healing from eating disorders, and those building new relationships with food having struggled with disordered eating, chronic dieting, and eating issues in general.
