“I work with people who need to implement ways to improve their health and nutrition. I have worked in an Internal Medicine Doctor's office for the last 17 years and I work well with people who have been given instruction from their physician to improve their diet and lifestyle. Those who have high cholesterol, high blood pressure, are pre-diabetic or are looking to lose weight are great clients for me. I also work with those who have food sensitivities, such as gluten, soy, and dairy, and need assistance on menu planning for their specific conditions.

“Health is my passion and I love working with people who are interested in learning how to improve their health. One of the things I say in my Bio is that I am bilingual. I speak English and I speak Science. One of my talents is being able to translate and present scientific information to the lay public so that they can understand it. Tremendous advances in science are explaining how and why natural therapies work and I specialize in bringing this information to the general public. I firmly believe that Natural Therapies should be the primary method of treating all health conditions.

Nutritionist/Dietitian, MA, NCC, LPCI, RD, LD
“As a counselor and a dietitian, I am uniquely qualified to provide therapy for the mind as well as the body. One of my areas of specialization is in food-related issues. Our relationship with food can be very personal and complicated and can often mask underlying conflicts that we have with ourselves and others. Clients that I work with may have been diagnosed as being a diabetic, being obese, or having an eating disorder, but a diagnosis does not define who you are as an individual.

How can an Oregon (OR) Nutritionist help me?
Dietitians and Nutritionists in Oregon (OR) provide advice on good eating habits. They help you with your diet and how it affects your health. They assess nutrition needs and food patterns, plan a diet that's appropriate for your physical and dietary needs, and provide nutrition counseling, such as advice on dietary changes and menu plans. They advise on special diets for medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, food allergies, and obesity.

The word dietitian has a variant spelling 'dietician' (e.g. find an Oregon (OR) dietician). Both spellings are correct.
