Food 4 Osteoporosis, Nutritionist/Dietitian in Arlington
“I am a Nutritionist personally and professionally dealing with osteoporosis. I've learned that fighting osteoporosis nutritionally is about more than just calcium. Even as a Dietitian, I find the wealth of recommendations related to osteoporosis overwhelming. I've spent considerable time reviewing the osteoporosis nutrition research and applying my nutrition training to developing my "Food 4 Osteoporosis Eating Plan", which I believe, is a good nutritional approach to maintaining strong bones and avoiding bone fractures. My online Eating Plan is continually updated to reflect new, evolving research that further clarifies the best nutritional approaches for maintaining strong bones.

Treating diabetes not only involves modifying food intake to help control blood sugar levels, but also involves modifying food intake to help control cholesterol, blood pressure and weight.

Kelsey Shaltry, Nutritionist/Dietitian in San Marcos
“Nothing matches the satisfaction I receive when a client experiences the happiness and rewards that go along with a healthy lifestyle. I believe that a successful nutrition program requires healthy lifestyle choices that place just as much emphasis on happiness as physical health. I will never place a client on a "fad" diet or a starvation diet. I do not believe that the role of a dietitian is to place a client on a diet. Rather, my role is to empower my clients to make lifestyle-behavior changes that will benefit their overall health and happiness in the long run.
