"I am passionate about helping my clients let go of dysfunctional eating behaviors while supporting them in creating eating patterns that optimize their health and happiness. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who struggle with disordered eating behaviors and eating disorders. Offering both individual and family nutrition counseling and guidance in a supportive, nonjudgmental, and collaborative style, encourages trust and willingness to change. I work with a non-diet approach and the Intuitive Eating model which helps to heal disordered eating behaviors and puts the joy back in eating.
Jill gained experience working with eating disorders as an outpatient nutriton therapist at the Renfrew Center. She earned the Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian (CEDRD) designation and Approved Supervisor from the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP). She facilitates Lunch Time Support Groups on Saturdays.
Jill is co-founder of Change the Message, a campaign that empowers individuals and communities to resist the culture of body negativity through promoting healthy messages and creating materials and activities to reinforce them.
