As a Registered Dietitian for Lighthouse Nutrition and Wellness, I enjoy working with clients who realize how important lifestyle and diet are to their health and overall life quality. Magdalynn Hays — Maddie for short — enjoys helping her clients prioritize their health by using a “food as medicine” approach. As a practitioner, Maddie’s goal is to create a custom plan for her clients that is science-based, true to the client’s needs, and, most importantly, fits into their lifestyle. Maddie developed a profound interest in nutrition and exercise (and the intersection between the two) during her undergraduate education at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. Although she was a competitive athlete for most of her childhood and early teens, healthcare and science did not initially appeal to her as a career.

I love working with clients who are looking ditch diet culture, to redefine what "health" means to them, and to improve their relationship to food and body.
