My name is Rachel Wilson and I'm a registered dietitian. I started out in the hospital setting and have a strong clinical background. Now having moved on to the outpatient setting I work with patients developing personalized meal plans that are realistic, sustainable, and tailored to each patient's unique needs and preferences. I believe in a holistic approach to nutrition, considering not only the physical aspects but also the emotional and social factors that influence one's relationship with food. I am avid advocate for evidence-based nutrition and stays up-to-date with the latest research in the field as much as possible.

I am an expert in the areas of weight loss, label reading, gluten-free and other food allergies and teaching mindfulness related to eating patterns.I create meal and lifestyle plans to reduce symptoms of inflammatory conditions, gastrointestinal and neurological disorders, forms of cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. My program empowers individuals, families and groups to make smarter, more informed food decisions, leading to health, balance and longevity. I promote overall health through assisting clients and making informed food decisions by combining the most recent scientific findings with specific interventions that lead to health and balance.

Nutrition counseling is always personalized for each individual because nutrition is not a one size fit all approach. I start off by factoring in both health and personal needs along with cultural preferences. My goal is to instill confidence and knowledge, so individuals can learn to navigate their health successfully. By doing this, I assist and personalize their meal plans and help establish realistic goals to improve overall nutrition needs. My goal is to help identify barriers, provide encouragement while offering simple soultions. I value simplicity because food and nutrition shouldn't be complicated.
