I believe we are all born intuitive eaters, and in order to return to this, we must heal from the messages thrown our way by diet culture and remember how to trust our own instincts and experiences. During my dietetic internship, I also nurtured a love for GI nutrition and have seen that for those with GI disorders, intuitive eating practices can be integral to finding peace with food as well.
