My nutrition philosophy includes but is not limited to that nutrition should be simple, easy to access, and inclusive. When you work with me, I invite you to openly discuss your nutrition struggles in a safe, compassionate and judgement free environment. I am a huge advocate for developing a good relationship with food that doesn’t involve categorizing food with moral judgements. Sometimes, weight loss is prescribed as a solution when in reality after much deeper digging, it is not. We may shift focus to health habits versus weight alone to encourage optimal health. I look at the whole person and take a down to earth, common sense a

My work focuses on functional nutrition and helping clients to better understand natural ways to help their bodies find balance. This can be done in various ways including nutrition and lifestyle support that looks at all areas of one's daily life including diet, exercise, sleep, stress management, simple daily detox support and focusing on a spiritual practice, which for me, as a Christian, includes time with the Lord. This, in my opinion, is a missing link in many people's health journeys. Most focus on the physical, which obviously is important, but the emotional and spiritual aspects are also very important and inter-connected.

Are you tired of not feeling well? Are you feeling bloated, exhausted, and depressed? Or maybe you are tired of feeling like the friend who has it together professionally but your health is suffering. Let’s face it, we have all been there. As you get older, your metabolism is going to slow down which means the health problems you are having now will likely only get worse unless you take action. What you are experiencing can be stopped and reversed.

How can a Texas Nutritionist help me?
Dietitians and Nutritionists in Texas provide advice on good eating habits. They help you with your diet and how it affects your health. They assess nutrition needs and food patterns, plan a diet that's appropriate for your physical and dietary needs, and provide nutrition counseling, such as advice on dietary changes and menu plans. They advise on special diets for medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, food allergies, and obesity.

The word dietitian has a variant spelling 'dietician' (e.g. find a Texas dietician). Both spellings are correct.

About Texas Registered Dietitians
Registered Dietitians or Registered Dietitian Nutritionists in Texas complete a bachelor's degree at a school accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as well as a period of supervised practice and an exam administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. While certification is not required in all states for nutritional counseling or nutrition therapy, only individuals certified by their respective states may use the Certified Dietitian or Certified Nutritionist titles.

How to use my insurance?
Some Nutritionists and Texas dietary professionals accept health insurance. Check to see if your insurance is covered. Feel free to discuss this when you contact the Nutritionist or Dietitian.
