Our practice philosophy is to provide quality, individualized nutrition counseling to all clients, regardless of income. I have a Masters degree in nutrition and am a licensed and credentialed registered dietitian. I’m experienced in addressing nutritional needs for diverse populations; specifically infants, children, prenatal and postnatal care, and lactating people. I also have experience with managing and preventing diabetes. On a personal note, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes years ago and know too well the impact that a big health diagnosis can have on your life. Through this experience, I’ve understood the importance of being in touch with your food and wellbeing, and always checking nutrition labels!

Leddy is a Spanish-speaking dietitian-nutritionist with extensive experience in both pediatric and geriatric nutrition counseling for feeding disorders, diabetes, heart health, and weight management. Leddy provides medical nutrition therapy for weight management, cardiovascular health, prediabetes, diabetes, allergies, and gastrointestinal and food intolerances.

I am a mom of three young kids and our family loves to stay active. She is a well known author of many textbooks and peer reviewed research articles as well as a national speaker on health and nutrition. She holds a B.S. in Nutrition from NYU, a M.S in Nutrition and Physiology from Columbia University and a Doctorate in Health and Behavior Studies from Columbia University. My name is Michel Harris and I have been a Registered Dietitian since 2000 and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist since 2010. I completed my undergraduate and graduate studies at Benedictine University before by internship at Hines VA Hospital. Some of my past work experiences have included long term care, foodservice management, private practice serving individuals with eating disorders, and inpatient positions in hospitals. My passion for teaching the future generation of nutrition professionals led me to start teaching in 2018.
