Welcome to a A Bowl Full of Nutrition. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist specializing in eating disorder treatment, medical nutrition therapy, weight management, and motivational interviewing. I graduated with a BS in Dietetics from Kansas State University and a MS in Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island. I have worked extensively with eating disorder patients in a treatment facility and have experience working with clients who struggle with weight management and diabetes. I also have trained with The Body Positive Institute and am skilled at working with clients on improving body image.

A Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist for over 25 years, I work with both adults and children to meet their nutrition goals. I can help you with medical nutrition therapy for including diabetes, pre-diabetes, hypertension, abnormal lipid levels, and weight management. My philosophy is one of balance and moderation and my goal is to help you improved your nutrition and health within your comfort zone and lifestyle constraints. Each person has unique needs and goals. Helping them to achieve them is my priority.

I have been practicing as a dietitian for 30 years and enjoy working with gestational moms and clients who need individualized counseling to treat their pre-diabetes, type 2 diabetes and other health conditions. As a certified diabetes educator, I also work closely with dialysis patients in outpatient clinics. Medical Nutrition Therapy for diabetes, kidney disease and weight management is available at Smiley Meal LLC Monday through Saturdays at my office locations.

Our programs at Nutrition On The Go, Inc. are specifically designed and customized to target the unique needs of each client depending on their health circumstances or nutrition diagnosis. We focus on diabetes management, Gestational diabetes, chronic kidney disease, heart disease, cancer, weight management , general healthy nutrition, gastrointestinal issues to include Celiac disease etc. Our dietitian has over 15 years of experience working in the field of dietetics and nutrition.

I am a Registered Dietitian who believes we are each unique beings with individualized circumstances and needs. I look forward to assisting you in achieving your health promotion goals which may include: weight management (losing, gaining, maintaining), reducing blood pressure or cholesterol and preventing or treating diabetes. If sports nutrition is your focus, I will measure your resting metabolic rate, do a fitness assessment, and write an exercise prescription. My clients are ready to make incremental changes and learn how to sustain them. Recommendations are individualized and include what food choices, vitamin and mineral supplementation, and what types and amounts of physical activity will help you optimize your health.

Rebecca is a registered dietitian, board certified sports dietitian and a personal trainer with her Bachelor's degree in dietetics and her graduate degree in exercise and sports science from Iowa State University. She also has a personal training certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. Rebecca works with digestive issues, allergies, weight issues and with several athletes from various training groups - DC tri, Team Z, Team in Training, Pacers, and others. She also works closely with folks with multiple food allergies and has very extensive and personal experience in this area as well as with weight loss.

NOVA Sports Nutrition was founded with the goal of providing truly individualized, client-centered care that would address specific needs and barriers for each client in reaching their goals. No counseling or meal plans are cookie-cutter and each plan is unique to each client. Our mission is to help clients create healthy and fit lifestyles that are realistic and sustainable and allow them to optimize their overall health and wellness.

I am a registered dietitian with a board certification in Sports Nutrition. I presently see clients via a virtual telehealth platform, Healthie. I have over 23 years of experience developing Wellness programs and providing cutting-edge nutrition, fitness and wellness services to a wide variety of individuals and groups. My specialties include health promotion, weight management, sports nutrition, wellness and fitness. I have experience working with vegetarian diets, celiac disease and eating disorders. I graduated from University of Rhode Island and obtained my Master of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from UMASS Amherst.

Ideally, a client who presents with disordered eating and needs a combination of psychotherapy, nutritional therapy, and bodywork or fitness training. Using a holistic approach, I address underlying issues and triggers behind the disordered eating. I teach clients to identify their feelings, use non-food coping skills, awareness of true hunger cues, and become more connected to their bodies by separating food from feelings. Together in a safe, supportive environment, we will explore barriers to change such as body image, exercise resistance, and emotional eating.

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Lactation Counselor, and Certified in Weight Management. As a current partner with TPG Pediatrics and Metropolitan Breastfeeding I am able to care for patient's dietary needs, picky eating, food sensitivities, lactation, and weight management providing both in-person and virtual appointments for all ages.

She specializes in eating disorder treatment, sports nutrition, and women’s health, all through a Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating lens.

I am a Registered Dietitian passionate about helping clients achieve their health goals through a personalized lifestyle approach using intuitive eating practices. Rather than focusing solely on weight, I help patients to focus on their current lifestyle and set reasonable goals towards achieving a better relationship with food and their body.
