I am also a Certified Clinical Transplant Dietitian and has spent the last 10 years specializing in Renal Nutrition at MedStar Georgetown Transplant Institute in Washington, D.C. As an advanced practitioner in the nutrition care of kidney transplant candidates and recipients, my focus has been educating and preparing patients meet the nutritional requirements for transplant. My experience is from a variety of settings, including dialysis centers, community nutrition, clinical and organ transplant.

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia. I then earned my Master of Science degree in Nutrition from Auburn University while completing research on the Mediterranean Diet.
