I am a registered dietitian with a board certification in Sports Nutrition. I presently see clients via a virtual telehealth platform, Healthie. I have over 23 years of experience developing Wellness programs and providing cutting-edge nutrition, fitness and wellness services to a wide variety of individuals and groups. My specialties include health promotion, weight management, sports nutrition, wellness and fitness. I have experience working with vegetarian diets, celiac disease and eating disorders. I graduated from University of Rhode Island and obtained my Master of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from UMASS Amherst.

Ideally, a client who presents with disordered eating and needs a combination of psychotherapy, nutritional therapy, and bodywork or fitness training. Using a holistic approach, I address underlying issues and triggers behind the disordered eating. I teach clients to identify their feelings, use non-food coping skills, awareness of true hunger cues, and become more connected to their bodies by separating food from feelings. Together in a safe, supportive environment, we will explore barriers to change such as body image, exercise resistance, and emotional eating.

Rebecca is a registered dietitian, board certified sports dietitian and a personal trainer with her Bachelor's degree in dietetics and her graduate degree in exercise and sports science from Iowa State University. She also has a personal training certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. Rebecca works with digestive issues, allergies, weight issues and with several athletes from various training groups - DC tri, Team Z, Team in Training, Pacers, and others. She also works closely with folks with multiple food allergies and has very extensive and personal experience in this area as well as with weight loss.

She takes special interest in Prenatal Nutrition, Pediatric Nutrition and Diabetes care. She works closely with Diabetes patients (Pre-diabetes, Gestational Diabetes, Type I and Type 2 Diabetes) and offer individual counseling and personalized meal plan. Diabetes care includes insulin management and close monitoring of blood glucose goals.

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with experience in sports nutrition, eating disorders & disordered eating in children and adults, pediatric nutrition, gastrointestinal issues, body image concerns, and food allergies. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia. I then earned my Master of Science degree in Nutrition from Auburn University while completing research on the Mediterranean Diet. I completed my dietetic internship at the University of Houston with a focus on sports nutrition and disordered eating.
