I am a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist (RDN) and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) with more than 14 years of experience in helping individuals reach their goal of improving their A1C levels, losing weight, keeping it off, and reducing the risk of chronic diseases. With over 40 years of practice experience, I have the expertise to help patients with a wide variety of complex nutritional problems. In addition to being a R.D., C.D.N, with a Ph.D. and M.P.H., I am a Board Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (IFMCP) through the Institute for Functional Medicine. I look at the total person when doing the patient's nutritional assessment and evaluation.
