Welcome to a A Bowl Full of Nutrition. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist specializing in eating disorder treatment, medical nutrition therapy, weight management, and motivational interviewing. I graduated with a BS in Dietetics from Kansas State University and a MS in Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island. I have worked extensively with eating disorder patients in a treatment facility and have experience working with clients who struggle with weight management and diabetes. I also have trained with The Body Positive Institute and am skilled at working with clients on improving body image.

NOVA Sports Nutrition was founded with the goal of providing truly individualized, client-centered care that would address specific needs and barriers for each client in reaching their goals. No counseling or meal plans are cookie-cutter and each plan is unique to each client. Our mission is to help clients create healthy and fit lifestyles that are realistic and sustainable and allow them to optimize their overall health and wellness.

Rebecca is a registered dietitian, board certified sports dietitian and a personal trainer with her Bachelor's degree in dietetics and her graduate degree in exercise and sports science from Iowa State University. She also has a personal training certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. Rebecca works with digestive issues, allergies, weight issues and with several athletes from various training groups - DC tri, Team Z, Team in Training, Pacers, and others. She also works closely with folks with multiple food allergies and has very extensive and personal experience in this area as well as with weight loss.

At Bodacious Nutrition (Nutrition for Women), Joanna specializes in supporting women who struggle with food and body anxiety, unwanted symptoms of PCOS or perimenopause/menopause, disordered eating/eating disorders, and unwanted weight gain, blood sugar issues, low energy, or a sense of disrupted embodiment where body trust is difficult. She is an expert in women's and metabolic health as well as primarily plant-based eating. She helps women on Ozempic, Wegovy, or other weight loss drugs maintain body attunement and a positive relationship with food. Her approach is holistic. Sessions are collaborative, empowering, and virtual.

Jenna is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating. After completing her Bachelors in psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Jenna worked in clinical research with adolescents with disordered eating at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She then went on to pursue her Masters of Public Health in Nutritional Sciences and Dietetic Internship at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. While in school, Jenna conducted research on family feeding practices and experiences of weight stigma.

At Potomac Nutrition, I work collaboratively with patients in a virtual or in-person setting to reach their nutrition and health goals. I have been practicing nutrition counseling for 4 years helping patients with a variety of concerns such as autoimmune disease, endocrine disease, relationship with food, digestive health, heart health, women's health and PCOS, athletic performance, and weight concerns.

I have worked in both an intensive outpatient and a partial hospitalization setting where I have been able to help clients from all backgrounds develop a healthier relationship with food. My name is Jenna Albert and I am a Registered Dietitian specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating. I use an intuitive eating framework and a Health At Every Size (R) approach to meet my clients where they are and honor their unique journeys. I’d love to work with you in exploring where your ideas about food, nutrition, and bodies come from so you can turn down the noise of diet culture and tune into your body's internal cues.

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner. I use a "food as medicine" approach to help clients improve their health, alleviate symptoms, and minimize their need for medication. I like to educate my clients on the role of diet in disease prevention as well.

Ideally, a client who presents with disordered eating and needs a combination of psychotherapy, nutritional therapy, and bodywork or fitness training. Using a holistic approach, I address underlying issues and triggers behind the disordered eating. I teach clients to identify their feelings, use non-food coping skills, awareness of true hunger cues, and become more connected to their bodies by separating food from feelings.
