I have dedicated my career to helping people improve their relationship with food and move away from life-sucking patterns of behavior. With over 10 years of experience at all levels of care and acuity, I am confident in my ability to support people in finding their way back to trusting food and their body.

As both a therapist and a registered dietitian, I specialize in helping people heal their relationship with food and body-image. This might include challenges with dieting, overeating, emotional eating, stress eating, or binge eating. I teach my clients how to break free from dieting and rigid eating plans and learn how to restore healthy eating and self-care habits. Hello! If you've found me, maybe you are a mom in the fog of postpartum or raising young kids, and you aren't feeling confident in your body. You want to prioritize your health but struggle to do so regularly. When it comes to coping with stress, most of us know eating well, hydrating, exercising, and other habits can help us feel better. However, it’s difficult to prioritize these due to daily stressors, demands of parenting, conflicting nutrition information, lack of support for parents, & so much more. That's where I come in!

I love working with clients to explore their relationship with food and body. You can expect that sessions with me will be individualized and collaborative - you are in the driver’s seat! You are the only one that has lived in your body, meaning that you have invaluable experience and wisdom about your own needs. Come with your questions, challenges and goals and we will create a game plan together. Sessions with me are warm and casual. I try to bring levity and laughter into the (virtual) room - but you get to be the judge of my jokes. I practice from an anti-diet, weight inclusive framework.

My specialty is chronic disease prevention. I work with clients to create a PLANT-BASED vegan or vegetarian personalized nutrition plan that may include recommendations, sample menus, nutrient analysis and recipe ideas. I have over 20 years' experience as a Vegan Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) providing counseling and personalized nutrition plans as well as developing sustainable food and nutrition education programs for schools and community partners.
