Hi, I’m Cerina, a licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist that specializes in Integrative and Functional Nutrition and Wellness, along with coaching through behavior change. I’ve helped clients with a variety of health challenges including; a history of chronic dieting, fatigue and digestive issues (e.g., bloat, gas, etc.) and athletic performance. In my work with clients I help them to improve their relationship with food by deconstructing food cravings to increase their energy levels and focus, lose weight while also eating easy to prepare delicious foods. All this together to ultimately regain control over their health.

At Alyssa Lavy Nutrition & Wellness, our team focuses on repairing gut health and food relationships. Our nutrition experts specialize in digestive health, sports nutrition and eating disorders, using our foodie-first approach and motivational interviewing skills. We offer 1:1 individualized nutrition counseling, as well as the opportunity to work together in our Trust Your Gut small group coaching IBS management online course. I am a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist and a Certified Yoga Teacher with over 20 years of experience. If you are struggling to find peace with with food, a chronic dieter, wanting to improve your body image or just want a "nutrition tune up" I can help. You will develop a more peaceful relationship with food and regain trust with your body’s own cues of hunger and fullness. We will work together, utilizing Intuitive Eating strategies and mindfulness techniques in a non judgemental, health at every size approach. All ages, sizes and genders are welcome.

I look at the total person when doing the patient's nutritional assessment and evaluation. Katie understands and values the importance of proper health and is passionate about educating clients on the ‘WHY’ to nutrition. Katie believes that if you understand nutrition then you'll better know how to apply it for longevity. Katie offers nutrition & wellness counseling to individuals virtually through her online portal. Katie specializes in gut health (IBS, Crohns/UC, Celiac/Gluten Intolerance, GERD, SIBO, H. pylori, autoimmune, leaky gut, digestive discomfort, food sensitivities, etc.), weight management, sports nutrition, women's health, cardiovascular health, intuitive eating, behavioral habits, and preventative health.

My goal with all my clients is to help them form and foster a healthy relationship with food. I do not do diets or quick weight loss. I help people eat to nourish their bodies and minds, overcome fear foods and food rules and eat with freedom. I work with clients of all ages and health concerns.
