I am classically trained as a Registered Dietitian & Clinical Nutritionist, but specialize in Integrative & Functional Medicine. I have extensive expertise in nutrient, herbal and pharmaceutical interventions as well as lifestyle and integrative wellness approaches. In practice for over 45 years, I support clients challenged with auto-immune & inflammatory diseases, GI disorders, cardiovascular, endocrine, neurological & neuromuscular conditions. My clients receive a completely personalized "roadmap to health" that is designed for their unique lifestyle, preferences, health challenges and goals.

Melia is a registered dietitian that has dedicated the majority of her dietetic years to supporting individuals in their recovery from disordered eating, working in a multitude of eating disorder centers and children's hospitals. In addition, Melia has expertise in nutrition therapy for various needs including but not limited to pre/post natal nutrition, breastfeeding nutrition/support, pediatric nutrition, weight management, PCOS and women's health. Melia utilizes an evidenced based approach to nutrition therapy integrated with counseling modalities and works with you to heal the body and mind setting thoughtful, personalized goals

The Center for Counseling Families specializes in individuals, children, couples, and families. We offer a variety of specialties that include weight loss support, bariatric therapy, surgical evaluations, trauma-informed hypnotherapy, and immigration evaluations.
