Hello! I am a Registered Dietitian with Horizon Nutrition Counseling located in Nashville, TN. I love working with clients who struggle with eating disorders, disordered eating and body image concerns. I focus on building a trusting relationship with my clients and creating a safe space for my clients to heal their relationship with food and self image. I also enjoy nutrition counseling for disease management and prevention, lifestyle changes, sports nutrition and finding positive body movement.

Balance Nutrition Counseling is a dietetic practice located in Nashville, TN. The practice was founded by Melissa Giovanni MS, RDN, LDN, CEDRD. Melissa is a certified eating disorders licensed registered dietitian nutritionist who believes everyone deserves a healthy relationship with food. We take a non-diet, health at every size, balanced approach to nutrition and wellness. Our process is based on proven, scientific information, not the trending fads of the week. We understand that what and how you eat can be a very personal and vulnerable experience. Therefore, we tailor our support to each client’s individual needs.

I am a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian (CEDS) and owner of Horizon Nutrition Counseling, LLC. I focus on healing and liberating clients from the damage of eating and exercise disorders and disordered eating behaviors throughout the lifespan. My approach is centered around trusting relationships with all my clients I have the pleasure of working with.

Annie is a Registered Dietitian who focuses on body attunement and gut health. Rooted in evidence based practice, Annie takes into consideration your personal preferences, medical history, financial situation, and more when working with clients to design a plan that is right for them. She believes there is no "one size fits all" approach to nutrition care.

Emily Murray, RD, LDN is extremely passionate about empowering her clients to break free from rigid rules and beliefs around food, helping them find true peace and lasting freedom. Ask yourself: Do your thoughts about food, exercise, and your body feel intrusive and overwhelming? Is your relationship with food negatively impacting your physical, mental, or emotional health? Do you have the desire to change your relationship with food and your body, but have no idea where to start? Good news: It doesn't have to be this way.

As an eating disorder specialized registered dietitian, it's one of my core values for every one of my clients to feel their voice is respected and their needs are honored during the recovery process. I will support you with your nutrition targets while being mindful of psychological and medical comorbidities that can complicate nutrition in recovery. I tailor all recommendations in consideration of your food sensitivities, variety limitations, and GI issues (whether due to the eating disorder or preexisting), such as constipation, diarrhea, bloating, and intolerances.

Kristin specializes in working with adults and adolescents with Eating Disorders, Disordered Eating, PCOS, Digestive Conditions, IBS, Low FODMAP, Chron's, and Pre/Post Natal Nutrition, and Diabetes. Kristin offers a positive approach to nutrition by focusing on building a healthy relationship with food, making lifestyle changes, goal setting and problem solving to overcome barriers. She believes in staying positive, and that it’s never too late to make lifestyle changes that can lead to a healthier life. Kristin became a dietitian after the experience of caregiving in high school for her grandmother.
