I am a registered dietitian nutritionist who specializes in sports nutrition (CSSD). I am passionate about practical nutrition and creating a plan that works for you and your family. Through my appointments at Kroger, we have the unique opportunity to discuss your nutrition goals in the office, followed by shopping and practicing in the store! We will explore new products, read nutrition labels, discuss ways to prepare your food, and answer additional questions. My main goal is to make the healthy choice, the easy choice.

Balance Nutrition Counseling is a dietetic practice located in Nashville, TN. The practice was founded by Melissa Giovanni MS, RDN, LDN, CEDRD. Melissa is a certified eating disorders licensed registered dietitian nutritionist who believes everyone deserves a healthy relationship with food. We take a non-diet, health at every size, balanced approach to nutrition and wellness. Our process is based on proven, scientific information, not the trending fads of the week. Teran has been a Registered Dietitian and a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in private practice since 1996.
