She believes that health incorporates emotional, physical, and mental wellbeing.

It’s important for me to meet my clients where they are at and create tangible solutions that are specifically tailored to them. I believe in a whole foods-first approach and incorporate intuitive eating and Health at Every Size (HAES) practices. I’ve been lucky enough to work with professional and elite athletes, eating disorders at the partial-hospitalization and intensive outpatient level of care, and medical nutrition. I currently use my passion for sports nutrition as a contract sports dietitian for USA Track and Field.

She believes that all foods fit through practice of balance, variety and moderation. Her past experiences as an athlete and personal trainer has prompted a particular interest in sports nutrition.

Jessica Cortez, MS, RD, LD is a registered dietitian specializing in eating disorders. Jessica graduated from Texas State University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science. Jessica went on to complete her Master of Science in Nutrition at Texas Woman’s University. Jessica has experience working individually with clients as young as 7 years old and up to 79 years old. Jessica has a great deal of knowledge working with a variety of diagnoses including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), diabulimia and orthorexia/disordered eating.
