She is truly passionate about this work and believes recovery from an eating disorder is possible for everyone. Amanda specializes in eating disorders, disordered eating, female athlete triad, chronic dieting, intuitive eating, mindful eating, hypothalamic amenorrhea, and mood & anxiety disorders.

I am a registered dietitian with 16 years’ experience in the nutrition and wellness field. I have worked in a variety of settings with diverse populations. I am very passionate about helping patients and clients achieve optimal health and well-being.

Issues we can tackle together: eating disorders, gut health (IBS, SIBO, UC), yo-yo dieting, weight management, prenatal nutrition, postpartum nutrition, childhood nutrition, and/or preventative nutrition. I graduated with a BS in Dietetics from Kansas State University and a MS in Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island. I have worked extensively with eating disorder patients in a treatment facility and have experience working with clients who struggle with weight management and diabetes. I also have trained with The Body Positive Institute and am skilled at working with clients on improving body image.

I love supporting families with nutrition & feeding challenges. When working together, we will set realistic & achievable goals. I don't give out standard meal plans or diets but instead focus on meeting nutrient needs - adding instead of taking away and helping you feel confident nourishing yourself and your family. I know you are doing the best you can & together we will come up with strategies to help you reach your nutrition goals.

I became a registered dietitian nutritionist to help bring happiness back into people's lives through proper nutrition. I am here to guide you; whether due to an illness, dietary restrictions, weight loss, better athletic performance, or just wanting to try something new.

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Certified Lactation Counselor, and Certified in Weight Management. As a current partner with TPG Pediatrics and Metropolitan Breastfeeding I am able to care for patient's dietary needs, picky eating, food sensitivities, lactation, and weight management providing both in-person and virtual appointments for all ages.

Helena is a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist in the VA, DC, and MD area who is dedicated to helping her clients re-discover a healthy relationship with food and their body.Over the years she has found a deep connection working with co-morbid health challenges that many times accompany disordered eating such as gastrointestinal conditions, Crohn’s Disease, and Hormonal Imbalances.
