Laurie Kassen, Nutritionist/Dietitian in Burr Ridge
Verified by HealthProfs.com
Nutritionist/Dietitian, RD, LD, CLT
“The clients that I see are often those that have 'tried everything' and haven't found relief for their migraines, irritable bowel ,sinusitis, fibromyalgia or arthritis pain and somehow come across the MRT (Mediator Release Testing) and LEAP (Lifestyle, Eating And Performance) diet. They are often told that there is nothing more that can be done for them and that they will need to learn to deal with this for the rest of their lives. Other clients are referrals from satisfied friends/family/colleagues who have successfully completed the LEAP diet and want to share this program with others.

Carie Perrino, Nutritionist/Dietitian in Lombard

Nutritionist/Dietitian, RDN, LDN
“Do you suffer from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), fibromyalgia or chronic headaches (including migraines)? These conditions along with many others could be the result of food/chemical sensitivities consumed in your everyday life that are causing inflammation. If you're like me, figuring out these triggers on your own can be very frustrating and result in defeat. The Mediator Release Test (MRT) can help you identify those individual foods that could be causing your adverse symptoms. Some other co-morbidities that could be improved through LEAP are: chronic sinusitis, urticaria, eczema, autism, rheumatoid arthritis and chronic fatigue

Lauren Rosignal, Nutritionist/Dietitian in Schaumburg

Nutritionist/Dietitian, RD, LDN, CDM
“Nutrition can be defined as a way to nourish our bodies, but it doesn't have to be defined by avoiding "bad" foods while only consuming "good" foods. This thinking can lead to endless cycles of dieting which can turn into unhappiness and discouragement. I support the use of an "all foods fit" approach. Whether we are working on disordered eating, weight management, or blood sugar abnormalities, the person as a whole must be considered. Approaching clients from a nutrition therapist perspective, allows a safe space to create life-changing goals that lead to improvements in lifestyle and feeling good.
