Carie Perrino, Nutritionist/Dietitian in Lombard
Verified by HealthProfs.com
Nutritionist/Dietitian, RDN, LDN
“Do you suffer from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), fibromyalgia or chronic headaches (including migraines)? These conditions along with many others could be the result of food/chemical sensitivities consumed in your everyday life that are causing inflammation. If you're like me, figuring out these triggers on your own can be very frustrating and result in defeat. The Mediator Release Test (MRT) can help you identify those individual foods that could be causing your adverse symptoms. Some other co-morbidities that could be improved through LEAP are: chronic sinusitis, urticaria, eczema, autism, rheumatoid arthritis and chronic fatigue

“The clients that I see are often those that have 'tried everything' and haven't found relief for their migraines, irritable bowel ,sinusitis, fibromyalgia or arthritis pain and somehow come across the MRT (Mediator Release Testing) and LEAP (Lifestyle, Eating And Performance) diet. They are often told that there is nothing more that can be done for them and that they will need to learn to deal with this for the rest of their lives. Other clients are referrals from satisfied friends/family/colleagues who have successfully completed the LEAP diet and want to share this program with others.
